Social distancing rules explained: Australia's current state by state coronavirus guidelines

Since the pandemic was declared all Australian states have gone into various levels of lockdown.

Now that the country is cautiously optimistic that the curve has been flattened, the big question is how and when we will come out of isolation?

On Friday 8 May, the federal government announced a three-stage plan to ease coronavirus restrictions across the country, with the goal of reaching stage three by July. Ultimately, though, it is up to each state and territory to decide when and how far they would be relaxing restrictions in the coming months.
