Yeronga railway station on Brisbane's southside will stay closed for Cross River Rail upgrades well into January, and will not be fully accessible until August next year.
The station closed in April this year for a planned six-month shutdown to enable a complete overhaul of the platforms, rail lines and overpass.
But Cross River Rail general manager Matthew Martyn-Jones told ABC Radio Brisbane Queensland's recent deluge had delayed work for weeks, if not months.
